Creating a Scene from a Reference Image – Grandfather Clock in Modo 901

In this series we will cover the concept of creating a scene directly from one fantastic reference image. Our subject matter for this particular series is a fantasy grandfather clock which we found from 25kartinok on deviantart.com, he has many awesome pieces and has a lot of good work to learn from and be inspired by. The goal of this series is to create the initial reference image in 3D from initial scene creation all the way to texturing and lighting. This is a great series if you are interested in set creation for things like film special effects or architectural visualization. At this time the tutorial is not completely finished but we do intend to finish the tutorial if there is enough interest. Let us know on the YouTube comment section if you wanna see more of this series. Like any project we do our main goal is to teach you how to work with the tools and to learn how to create things that will help you in your own projects. We hope you enjoy this video and feel free to shoot us your thoughts or questions on the YouTube comment section for this video!

We greatly appreciate your support and would love to hear from you.
