Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber from Star Wars Episode 5 – Empire Strikes Back

In this tutorial we will walk through the process of texturing and lighting Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber from Star Wars Episode 5 – Empire Strikes Back. For this piece we show a quick time-lapse of the modeling process to not draw out the length of the video. If you would like to see the modeling process covered in more detail in the future let us know and we may cover it if there is enough interest. The purpose of this tutorial is to show you how to work with Octane Renderer in conjunction with Cinema 4D to create realistic textures to apply to any object. In the case of this video we work with Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber from the Star Wars franchise to apply those completed textures. Also in this video we briefly cover properly managing your scenes objects in the object manager and lighting/rendering the scene once you are happy with the texture creation. We hope you enjoy this video and feel free to shoot us your thoughts or questions on the YouTube comment section for this video!
